Several billion tons of earth are moved annually by humans – with shovels, excavators or dynamite. The director observes people in mines, quarries, large construction sites in a constant struggle to transform the planet. Canada, United States, Italy, Hungary, Austria: construction sites across the globe changing the very earth under our feet. A daringly new take on the relationship between nature, humankind and architecture.
