The First Siza is a documentary about the Four Houses, Álvaro Siza’s first architectural project, designed while he was still a student. Through a reunion sixty years later between Siza and his first client, Fernando Neto, the film highlights the importance of this early work in shaping the architect’s career. Using interviews, archival and contemporary footage, it explores how architecture and human lives become intertwined over time.
