Jord den Hollander is an award-winning Dutch architect and filmmaker, founder of the Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam. After getting his master degree in architecture, he was educated in scriptwriting at the London Film School. During his professional career he combined both disciplines in numerous projects; for example a spectacular design of a mobile children’s library became literally a “moving experience”, the building of the Centre for Architecture for children was filmed as an educational project for television. The presentation will show some of his recent work to illustrate how the cinematic tool of the storyboard can be used for architecture.
